June 27 - 7:00 am in Almaty. Hi everyone - it's another beautiful morning to sit on the balcony and look at the mountains! We were again up pretty late, still trying to adjust to the time change - and there's a bar across the street that was showing the soccer game - wow are soccer fans LOUD! :-)
Thank you thank you thank you for the comments - it sure is nice to hear from you! We've also been able to see emails on our Shaw email from home, and also on our MSN account. So feel free to send emails to either of those. We've also watched a few episodes of Sopranos - thanks again for that nice gift!
No news yet on our Visa issue - hope to hear something today or Monday. We haven't met up with the other Canadian families yet but hopefully in the next day or two. We've learned from Paul's Mom that we actually have people in common with Jen and Bert - how funny- what a small world!
That's all for now - have a great day!
take care,
love N&P

aI'm so glad you have a couple of days to relax, although not really what you probably want, but enjoy the time together as a couple because once you have that sweet baby in your life, couple time goes on the back burner!
Thinking of you guys lots... can't wait til the visa business is fixed!! Oh.. and how cool is that, that you have your own driver! Do you both sit in the back seat??? LOL
Hugs!!
Enjoy the view! and the moment if you can. This is just yet another blip. At least and finally after all of this time, you're there and the reason is just waiting to meet you. Hang in .... This is going to happen!!! We're thinking about you every minute!
Hello Paul and Nicole!!
So here we all sit in the early morning hours in Almaty pounding away on our laptops! So great to hear from you and looking forward to meeting you tonight at Mad Murphy's.

So happy to know you are there safe and sound! Okay, I now know that if I want a good cry I can just open up your blog page! I'm just so excited for you I cry every time I read your messages!!! It sounds like it's just beautiful there! Take care and I'm thinking of you lots!

Hey guys! Sorry I missed the party on Saturday. Forgot to mention it to my husband, Ooops! Anyway, I heard he made it. And, I was able to meet up with Kevin Beaulieu while in Kelowna! Yes, we both live in Winnipeg (much shame). Everyone enjoyed catching up.
Kelowna was fab. Weather was great. Family is doing fine. Mom and I visited many wineries for tastings and I brought home a 6-pack of wine (that's probably not the correct terminology for wine, is it?? - I'm a beer girl) for Chris for his big 4-0 (which was yesterday)!!
I'm home now, with the kitchen reno's (cabinets are in already - good timing on the travel!), but all is going smooth to date and maybe it will be done by the time you get home (safe and sound).. Time flies! You'll be home in a blink with stories and pictures (and much shopping to do!!!). Okay, not my strong point, I admit, but who doesn't like shopping for baby stuff!
Wishing you health and happiness on your fabulous journey! We're thinking of you everyday. I look forward to reading more.
Love Dawn
Much love from Chris and Tiana
yay!! you made it!...you have been in our thoughts! Ok maybe not today...school is out! All is well here. We have had nice weather this week except for the major rain today.
Kat is right...take the time to enjoy each other right now because...well, you are just gonna be too busy and tired later!
Lots of love
Carol, Jeff, Troy and Brett
